@time to sign Minnesota couldn’t do much offensively in the first meeting, they lost this game last year when they needed it to get into the playoffs. Why now in a meaningless game for them would there offense work?... NOS has 1 win on the road by 14 or more (17 point win at TB). Why would they destroy CAR today. No pressure on ATL to win knowing that everyone will return. Most motivated player on the field is Winston looking to make one last impression for a big contract. Rivers in this range finds ways to keep games close. I don’t get why everyone loves Cincy. CLE may not care, I don’t think they have to be all that interested to beat CIN.

@time to sign The Bills just played NE, next week is a playoff game, even if the starters play I just don’t see the focus there. NYJ have been talking this game up all week and they probably win it... Mentioned on post to BDV how bad my eagles defense is on the road. Philly needed a huge comeback to beat NYG 2 weeks ago, why would this be easier in NY? 1 1

@BigDaddyVladdy My Eagles defense on the road is putrid. 27 to WAS and GB, 37 to MIA and DAL, 38 to MIN. In comparison at home, Philly hasn't given up more than 17 to anyone since September.....It always amazed me how 3 hour national shows could spend 2 and a half hours talking about one team in one sport. I haven't checked but I hope Aikman or Romo aren't doing the game as an Eagles fan it's too easy to notice their biases.

All 0.5u: NHL: COL ml +105... WAS ml +100... CFB: Clemson/Ohio State FH Under 31... I actually prefer teams playing on a b2b in the NHL today b/c they’ll have their legs under them compared to teams who have been off most of the week. Will think about Vegas as well tonight. I will be adding to CFB. I like Ohio St to win the game but Clemson to win the first half so I took a very small Clemson FH/Ohio st FG prop at +700.

OKLA/LSU Under 76 (0.5u) I don’t think OKLA wants to trade points here. They run the ball nearly 60% of the time and their defence outside of b2b weeks against KSU/ISU hasn’t been bad. I know they can’t stop LSU for 4 Q’s but with a total this high, a quarter or half of good defense may be good enough. 2 1

Some quick thoughts on my plays: Philly’s offense struggled to throw the ball deep against a terrible NYG secondary. PHI still has no weapons on offense. WAS is slow and bad on offense. CAR game is the only one they’ve gotten to 20 since week 2..... NE has been a double digit favourite 6 times, those games are 4-2 to the under. This is the type of terrible offense NE was destroying earlier in the year. DEN has 2 losses by 10 or more @ BUF in a bad spot and vs KCC on Thurs night (rookie HC). I do think we get a better performance in the rematch. Go take a look at the field and you’ll know why I bet under. I get that TEN may be the better team and/or the better coached team but it’s for the division lead and in a 4th Q game I want Watson. I’ve been on the TEN over train but considering the importance of this game and all the TEN games that have gone over have been with totals lower than this, I had to take some shot with under. I elected FH.

I can be talked into every side and total with the exception of Baylor (and my fav play). Oklahoma outgained Baylor by 200 yards and held Baylor to 307 yards of offense, only TCU held them to less. Not bad considering no one thinks Oklahoma plays defense. Oklahoma lost it’s best player in the first quarter of that game, and gave Baylor 2 TD’s of under 30 yards thanks to turnovers. Oklahoma also stopped themselves from scoring by fumbling the football in the Baylor endzone creating a touchback. Despite losing their best player, having a 21 point swing on turnovers and falling behind 28-3, Oklahoma still won the game at Baylor. You could’ve had +11 at Baylor and now people want to bet +8.5 on a neutral. Why?

@chuckster BUF is a game behind NE/BAL for the number 1 seed and still have both on their schedule. For weeks everyone has said "BUF sched tougher down the stretch, they'll come back down to earth..." I don’t know when it became popular to fade SEA in a night game at home or when it became popular to take Cousins in a primetime game. I don’t know why people think Zimmer off a bye is such a great bet (2-3 SU) or why they think he is such a better coach than Pete Carroll. Note Zimmer and Carroll have met 3 times. Pete Carroll’s teams won all 3 meetings by average of 15 ppg. 3 0

Everyone on Philly coaching staff has to go. Mentioned 10 weeks ago how this team is never prepared, they lack focus, there is no creativity to the offense and nothing’s changed. They are all still acting like super bowl champions. None of them have any energy, the league has caught up and they make no adjustments. The defesne has no motivation to play well. Pederson actually called the Dolphins a good football team yesterday. That alone should be considered a fireable offense

@BigDaddyVladdy Hard to say w/o knowing if it's PPR. I'm starting Sutton if you think Lock can get him the the ball. Watkins any week can have a big game that said against LAC he had 3 targets. He did have 13 targets first time they played OAK. They'd be my 2. Deebo may have a higher floor but his best game came when everyone was hurt. Williams over Snell for me. 1 1

@time to sign Can SFF stop a mobile QB? They have given 25,27,26 to ARI x2 and SEA. The first meeting with ARI was a Thursday night where they gave up 7.1 YPP. In the other 2 games, they gave up 4.6 and 4.3 YPP. LW, I discussed the BAL defense and how much better it has been since the acquisition of Marcus Peters.... A couple weeks ago I said the best unit on the field between PIT/CLE was the PIT defense I still believe that. CLE was -3 at home in the first meeting being -2 at PIT just makes zero sense. The under play backs my Steelers play up b/c it’s possible PIT just can’t score.... This game just reminds me of PHI/NYJ. Philly will do enough to win, MIA won’t score very much.... WAS has played a lot of these recently where they are double digit dogs (vs BUF, MIN, SFF) and they’ve all gone under mainy b/c they are sooo methodical on offense.... Every game TEN has played since Tannehill became starter has gone over the number.

Do I really need a write up for CHI/DET? It was a great bet at -2.5. The only reason I didn’t make it a full unit is b/c CHI has a tendency to start slow. They will probably be a great 2H bet regardless of score. Over the 4 games, CHI in the second half: 14-10, 13-7, 7-7, 16-7. If DET can’t move the ball, CHI offense will be given the opportunity to find a rhythm and considering some of their previous struggles, I’m not sure they let the foot off the gas pedal. I can’t play Over but it’s too low for me to play under....... I don’t love this matchup for BUF. Their rush defense has been less than stellar but this is just a fade of DAL for 2 reasons. I don’t like the spot. DAL had an intense down to the wire affair with NE in difficult rainy, windy conditions while BUF had a leisurely Sunday afternoon in a game where they were always in control. Also anyone associated with BUF had been complaining in recent weeks about the lack of national tv games, they feel disrespected. Here’s their chance. Reason 2 is DAL record against winning teams: 0-4 SU, 1-3 ats. Everyone loves mentioning BUF weak sched. DAL best win was Philly and their others: NYG x2, WAS, MIA, DET with back up QB.

@chuckster NFL offenses usually bring new stuff to the table on a yearly bases, it becomes the flavor of the month and defensive coordinators usually say gives an off season and we'll figure it out. NE has 2 months to formulate a game plan having already seen the offense in action which is important in understanding how fast it is, something that would be hard to comprehend just by watching film.

Reasons to play the Rams: the line is inflated. We know this b/c BAL was -4 last week at home to HOU and it’s -3.5 on the road in LAR? LAR has a good defense, top 5 in the NFL in YPP including 2nd against the run (yards per rush attempt) and we have seen DC Phillips develop game plans to slow down explosive offenses previously. Reasons to bet BAL: Explosive offense that doesn’t have a clear comp to. They cover weekly and since they acquired CB Marcus Peter, they are allowing 4.7 YPP compared to 6.2 YPP (1.5 YPP better since his arrival) prior to him getting there. None of that seems fraudulent considering BAL has played Willson, Brady, Watson in 3 of the 4 games they have had Peters for.

@BigDaddyVladdy Literally the first thing I told myself after posting was I have to play under. You know I can only take LAR here but remember last year when we kept finding reasons to fade NOS and it wasn’t working. BAL feels like that right now so i’ll stay away to start (want to see LAR D gameplan first) . That said NOS run of ats success ended in a primetime game as a road favourite when DAL beat them. It’s the same roll tonight....

For Yesterday: PIT has no weapons and probably thinks if they run the ball 50 times and wait until CIN makes a mistake they probably win. Have you seen CIN play offense? Although they probably look across the field and have the same strategy........ WAS has scored less than 10 points in 5 of their last 7 games, they play at a very slow pace. Went through DET qb box scores and I saw mediocre. WAS isn’t a team that can separate like DAL so the game script will be different/slower.

WPG +4 (1.65u to win 1.5):.. This is a hedge. Could go ml but i can’t help myself with this middle attempt. HAM has gotten NE sched in which they beat up a terrible division, get home field and end up in championship game. WPG is battle tested going to CGY and SAS and winning as underdogs. 2 season meetings HAM dominated, WPG offense didn’t work. I do think WPG defensively gives them a chance. Under is probably the best look.

@time to sign I’m not sure the NYJ are back b/c they beat the terrible NYG and WAS but I can’t get past a young OAK team looking to KCC next week. NYJ had this situation earlier when DAL was looking ahead to Philly and NYJ stepped up... Drew Brees can’t throw the ball downfield, division game and CAR did not play bad @ GB and ATL game was all turnovers. 10 is too many.... ATL has won the turnover battle 5-0 last 2 weeks, i’m not sure that they are back but I think they do score which means TB needs to keep up to cover Felt like Over was the better play... CHI got to play DET defense recently which numbers wise matches NYG defense. CHI scored 20 points and if they do that here, I’ll hit the under or the NYG, probably both... I wasn’t planning on making a move on SEA/PHI Under but Philly’s best receiver today is JJ Arcega-whiteside. I have no idea how Philly scores, SEA tends to stick to a run based approached until they are forced to throw it, I’m not sure they will ever be forced to.... My gamescript of this game is close/ball control which is why i bet under. I see this as on possession either way and i’m getting a home dog with some key numbers.

PHI to win NFC East +110 (hedge to DAL future I placed after week 2)....Already hit BUF over, need one more L for CHI Under and I’m now completely off DAL to win division.... DAL was 2-0, PHI 1-1 when I made DAL to win division bet. My thought at the time was DAL sched was easier. Since I made the bet, DAL was favoured in every game they’ve played this year yet could only manage 4-4. Philly meanwhile was favoured in just 3 of 8 games but still managed 4-4. Down the stretch Philly will be favoured in every game which includes this week and @ MIA prior to 4 straight division games to end the year. NE, BYF, CHI, LAR still stand in DAL way.

@0-10 ATS Not that you care now but if you were curious about my thought process: yes, Akron was 0-10 ats but they were only a 20+ point dog once (+21 at NIU) and they had lost 2 games all year by more than 29 points so it felt like a fair price to take Akron. To take big favorites you need explosive offense to get quick scores so there are more possessions and you need motivation. There was none playing an 0-10 football team and Miami-O had already clinched their spot in MAC title game. Miami O is not explosive and entering the game they were bottom 10 in FBS in terms of pace on offense

CFL: EDM ml +210 (0.5u)... This is a hedge to HAM win the grey cup future which I posted here multiple months ago with the thought that HAM would win their weak division, host the east final and then i’ll figure out what to do with it. I’ve gone back and fourth on if EDM can win this game but i’ve wanted to hedge this thing since late July when HAM QB was lost for the year. The backup has proven competent but this is a different test, a different pressure that I don’t want to assume he’ll handle.

My Eagles are going to provide a reminder to everyone of that super bowl win. @time to sign If DAL has a lead, they’ll run Zeke. How many points do you expect DET to score with back up QB? Perhaps DEN will have some trick plays off the bye but how do they score against MIN, unders in double digit chalk game’s i’ve discussed before. DEN also 3-1 to the under on the road with the one over being GB game and there were under ticket’s that cashed in that game.TB’s only 2 covers were the 2 games they were the biggest underdogs in –CAR +7, LAR +10- and they won both outright. How much is Brees worth to the line? TB was +3 AT NOS and now get 2.5 more points at home? Say this was in NOS. Is TB really +10.5 here? Saying Brees is worth over a TD to the line seems excessive. HOU has scored 23 points or more in each of their road games and they are off a bye. BAL as a home favourite this year 0-3 ats. Agree with everyone that thinks they are overvalued here after 3 straight wins and covers.

@chuckster My Eagles catching more than a field goal in our building is down right disrespectful. Time to bring back the dog masks... My Eagles have had the worse schedule in the NFL. I wish it to no one's favorite team. Philly one of only a couple of teams that had to play 3 consecutive road games. We get no advantage on our bye week b/c NE has a bye as well and than next week we play SEA who is also coming off their bye... who made this sched????

@time to sign I hate -1 lines, I hate in regulation lines even more but NYI are on a list with ANA and DAL of teams that I want to bet in certain spots but don’t trust them to score and win by margin. This game will always matter to NYI as long as Tavares is wearing Blue and White as the face of the NYI left for TOR in 2018. You could tell how much these games meant last year to NYI and i think it continues. I know Zach Hyman returns tonight for TOR but they lose a more important piece, Mitch Marner. The thought from most is the Leafs have enough scoring to withstand missing his play making abilities. What they don’t consider is Marner is one of the few Leafs forwards that are responsible defensively, you can trust him on the penalty kill and it’s in these areas I think he will be most missed. The price is real cheap for the NYI at home.

Overreaction Monday: Brees needs to go back to the bench as he cannot throw down field (287 yards on 45 pass attempts), his average intended air yards is pitiful. Mike Tomlin is the coach of the year 1-4 to 5-4 with Hall of Fame QB, WR, RB injured or gone. The defense outscored the Rams offense 6-3 yesterday. Pit to end the year has @ CLE @ CIN, CLE, @ ARI, BUF @ NYJ, @ BAL. Yes, lot's of road games but that is a division winning sched................ Nothing tonight. Lean Under in the football game but SEA as an underdog has played to the over and that has been consistent regardless if you use a 1 or 5 year sample size.

@time to sign EDM beat MON week 1, less than a week later MON fired their coach. Every other game EDM has won has been against TOR, OTT, BC. Only 3 teams don’t make the playoffs in the CFL, those are the 3.... I don’t recall the last time a football team played another team 3 weeks in a row but WPG is doing it here. WPG 2-1 vs CGY this year. The 3 games have been decided by 2,4 and 1 points. 4 is too many.

@time to sign Since everyone wants to talk CLE/BUF, my 2 cents: I get why people like CLE but what about their 2-6 record is fraudulent? They deserved to lose all those games. They had no excuse losing to terrible DEN starting a rookie QB. Do you think Kitchens will be the better coach today or that OBJ will care more about winning today than his fashion accessories b/c I don’t. TB has 2 point spread covers all year as 7 and 10 point dogs laying points is not their roll and they are also on a big run to the Over. TEN can score with Tannehill at least 20 points since he's been the starter. KCC gets their QB back, I see points. Cinci is just a spot play.

NHL: BUF ml +145: Goes off at 2pm ET. I have this line at TB -135 so some value in BUF but what got me to the window was that this game is being played in Sweden. BUF has 6 players that are from Sweden on their roster including today’s goalie Ullmark. Not only do I think that gives them some extra motivation to play well, it’s going to be easier for those players to get acclimated to their surroundings b/c for a quarter of the roster, this is home.

@time to sign I know it's been a while but I just looked into the CFB and NFL ML W/L relationship to the game TOTAL. I'm comfortable in saying there is no relationship. NYI had won 10 straight, in their building an elite defensive team, With the lead they had no reason to go score just play sound fundamental hockey. @time to sign TNF thoughts: OAK 4 losses: KCC, MIN, GB, HOU.... the Chargers aren’t better than any of those teams and LAC beating a flat GB team and CHI who missed a FG has me thinking they aren’t back. Only concern I have is LAC did fire their OC and the offense worked last week and OAK defense isn’t great. That said LAC still ended up settling for too many field goals and that won’t get it done. OAK is an over team cashing 3 unders all year, LAC is an Under team cashing 2 overs all year. Can’t bet under on Thursday night when I think both offenses can move the football. That said can’t you see 2 drives lasting the entire 1st quarter and the game being 3-3 after 1?

@time to sign My initial look was to the NYI who have won 10 straight and the price is cheap but this is playoff revenge for PIT and with their pedigree it means something to me and with all the winning NYI has done, I’m sure they love to end it. NYI have given up 3 or more goals just once during the win streak and PIT is coming off one of their worse defensive games. PIT bounces back defensively. NYI is a defensive team and this game has playoff intensity........ Vegas in the 3 games Goalie Fleury hasn’t started: 0-3 SU, 2-1 to the Over. Only game that didn’t go Over was to ARI where they only scored1 goal (TOR defense isn’t holding VGS to 1 goal). Just think TOR outscores VGS tonight. The one problem I had is Vegas goalie is from TOR and VGS has a lot of team guys not individuals and with their character, I can see them bringing their A game here compared to some of their other efforts with the back up goalie..... I’m taking 1st period ml’s with OTT when they are at home and I might do it blindly. For as bad as OTT is they have scored at least 1 goal in each of their last 6 1st periods.

@Walter That should be a fireable offense. Remember when the kicker missed the field goal and Arians said he deliberately took a delay of game penalty. ya ok Arians. As an offensive guy, you'd think he'd have 1 play to win the game and not rely on a coin flip. Maybe against a bad offense or if you have an elite defense you play for overtime but the minute SEA won the toss, the game was over and everyone knew it.

@Walter I guess Rivers catching points angle? But supposedly GB got to the stadium late and they looked flat and Rodgers said this after the game: “Talking about the offensive side of the ball, we’ve got to be honest with our routine and the decisions we made in the last 48 hours and make sure that our head is in the right place the next time we come on a big road trip...” I guess the LA nightlife does count as home field for the Chargers.

@BUSS122 My question is do you want a position on the game b/c if you don’t want to sweat it I’d lock in the nice profit and not get cute. If you like the NYG and want to have a position but also ensure you won’t lose, I’d put 330 to win 300 on Dallas -6.5. You win $50 if DAL wins by margin which I assume you don’t think so which is why you put the NYG in both parlays. You would win $473 if the NYG cover easily which is a little less than your cashout but still good. And you win 1,103 if DAL wins by exactly 7 or $681 if DAL wins by 8-10.... GL with whatever you choose.

@time to sign Just think PIT will be able to connect with a couple deep shots and IND won’t but PIT is on a short week and I really like IND coach.... Perhaps with Jackson, Philly offense won’t just be a short pass to Ertz but I like this Bears defense and don’t think CHI can score... MIA is very thin at every position so you see them try hard early but run out of energy late, on a short week I expect them to be more tired than usual. MIA has covered 3 straight which is keeping the number low... CAR has been an over team and TEN has scored at least 20 points in both Tannehill starts... I’ll talk about the Lamar Jackson offense later.

Passing on NHL card. I got close with COL tonight as I want them off a loss and FLA is in the last game of a road trip but COL who arguably has the best line in hockey, is missing 2/3rds of it and FLA was ran out of the building against VAN. The coached called them out (we saw NYR pull off an upset yesterday after the coach called them out) so I wonder if FLA comes to play or they just want to go home at the end of a trip. First meeting between the 2, FLA dominated but COL got the win. Became an easy pass

@time to sign Philly goalie Elliot has been strong this year, I want PIT unders when they are at home... I know NYR back up in net and that kept me off VAN yesterday which was a terrible mistake. TB has lost to COL and NAS back ups in recent games. Also here is what TB has done when laying -200 or more this year: Lose to terrible OTT 4-2, lose to COL who was on a b2b starting their backup goalie 6-2 and need a last minute goal to beat PIT 3-2 who was also starting their back up. The trend of the day is teams after playing @ Vegas are 0-6 (29-59 since VGS inception) this year and they have lost every game by at least 2 goals. I get it in certain situations but considering how poorly ANA played at VGS, this isn’t one of them. If your curious ANA is 2-2 after a game @ VGS last year they lost both at home to BUF on the second of b2b’s and TOR in overtime. I don’t see why all the interest on WPG especially since they just played a game in Regina. If anything WPG has the tougher spot.

After building a 14-0 lead, the Dolphins punted midway through the 2nd quarter. They never punted again. They also never scored again. Yes they haven’t left the state of NY the entire time but the ml price is suggesting that ARI may be better than BUF which is inaccurate imo.... @time to sign NFL: PIT has a long history of playing down to the competition which Walter once had on the site about all the terrible QB’s with bad point spread results that covered against PIT. Think Brett Hundley and GB getting blown out every week but PIT needing a last second FG to beat them or PIT playing a terrible Cincy team in week 17 needing a win to keep their playoff hopes alive and needing a late score to beat them. They do it all the time and MIA has shown some fight since the bye and it’s one thing to get blown out on a Sunday afternoon when no one is paying attention, it’s another to do so in a prime time game. MIA has been a good first half team and I could see a 14-10 FH and than a 2H collapse so I split the wager.... We talked last Thursday about double digit spreads and playing the ‘under.’ It cashed on THU and there were 3 more situations on Sunday and all 3 games went ‘under’ the total making unders 14-4 in games where the spread is 10 or more.

Did not like the soft goals the starter allowed to WAS helping WAS erase a 5-1 deficit so this may be better. VAN backup 2-1 and the one loss was 1-0 and FLA is on a b2b (this is me trying to talk myself into it)... 0 0

@time to sign The NYJ I feel are coming to play mentioned it yesterday and I don’t trust JAX to win by margin...No we’re not going through 3 with LAC but I just want every possible one possession score with them, SEA you go through the numbers....No I don’t buy that my Eagles problems will be fixed this week. Heard that nonsense last year and nothing changed....I keep hearing how great the NOS defense is. Why? They’ve allowed 25 or more to 5 of 7 opponents. People want to bet NOS b/c Drew Brees is back. This feels like a letdown game for everyone on NOS especially the defense b/c they know they won’t have to be perfect.... NYG and Over b/c DET defense has been terrible in recent weeks and they got rid of a popular safety and both Lions wins have been by 3 points... I like the Rams game under b/c I see a similar script to the Rams last game where they build a lead and their opponent can’t score. Tannehill had over 300 yards passing last week and i’m not high on TB’s defense.

@time to sign Was going to take SA/WAS under but PG Thomas is back and all I know is that doesn't mean defense. I get the steam on LAC/PHX under but I'd rather wait and play it live in the 2H if LAC is blowing them out expecting the game to slow down.... NHL BOS gets revenge on STL but -170 is playing into that narrative and it feels like a 3-2 type game 1 3

@chuckster Let's play an IF game... If I told you WAS would have scored 9 points over the past 2 weeks, how many point spread covers would you say they have? It would not have been 2! In fact teams that score 10 points or less this year are 2-20ats. WAS has both covers... If i told you MIN would NOT punt the whole game how much would you have put on MIN, MIN TT Over ect. Teams that don’t punt in an NFL game historically score around 40 ppg, MIN didn’t get to 20... If I told you there would be a total of 2 punts in the game, how much would you have put on the Over? The games stayed 2 full TD’s Under... It was one of those games.

So many nba leans that i stayed away from: BOS -3 but like Philly, TOR’s size could be a problem. MIN/CHA Over but I don’t trust CHA to score the way they did with CHI (I don’t get the under move either). The BKN spread is too high but SA went on their run vs NY and that was that and it could happen here. CHI/MEM Over makes sense but missed the number. Why are the Lakers laying 3.5 to a team that’s better than them? Utah however is a work in progress and aside from Mitchell they were not sharp in game 1 so I reluctantly passed (for now).

NBA: I don’t trust DET on a b2b and I don’t want ATL in a pick em game on the road. We saw a team in Denver with a lot of continuity win yesterday and that’s Milwaukee today. HOU probably experimenting with rotations with Westbrook and MIL won both last year. That said the one player MIL lost, Brogdon is important, he scored 24 at HOU in a game where Chris Paul didn’t play and the small spread tells me the books aren’t sleeping on MIL. I have spent too much time trying to figure out what GS will look like and I still have no idea. Easy pass would lean LAC though....................... Couple NHL notes: NYR were a look tonight but like vs ARI, I’m not catching a falling knife. I’ll wait until they win 1. Note the NYR coach called the team “Fragile” after their loss to ARI and that certainly isn’t bet on. Sharp money has come against Edmonton off the opener in each of their last 3 games, they were right the first 2 and just figured I’d mention it.

@time to sign What’s Minny’s motivation to run up the score here? We know Zimmer wants to run the football and this is a game you can control and establish the run. I also have no idea how WAS scores. Note that there have been 14 double digit spreads this year and they have gone 10-4 to the ‘under.’.... I keep hearing that Houston has quit b/c they were outyarded by terrible UConn. I disagree with that assessment as they were in the Cinci game throughout and after Uconn they had this game tonight against ranked SMU on national TV and then at UCF. Uconn was the classic sandwich/flat spot. We know SMU will get their’s but I think HOU can keep up.

@time to sign NHL: This is the definition of a price play for me as this line makes no sense. PHI/CHI played on a neutral overseas to begin the year and PHI closed -115. I haven’t seen much that suggest these 2 teams are much different since that game. The only difference between the 2 is that Goalie Lehner will be starting for CHI who is better than Crawford. So I have the better goalie and i’m at home yet the line for Philly only goes down 5 cents from -115 to -110? That move isn’t big enough. Vegas played both at PHI and at CHI this week and they closed -110 at PHI and -120 at CHI but the back up (i’ve stated before fade Vegas everytime they start a backup goalie) started at Philly and Fleury played at CHI and when you consider that difference, you could make an argument that the 2 lines suggest CHI is the better team. The price seems cheap.

@time to sign When Philly is motivated like at home on opening night that defense can be the league’s best but I don’t see scoring on Philly. Butler could create his own shot, Reddick is lethal from 3, both are gone. Who can score easily on this team?............Only my 2nd 1st period bet of the season all of which will be 0.5u as I experiment. DET has lost 5 in a row but have lost the 1st period only once in those games. Feel like DET may get tired as the game progresses on the 2nd night of a b2b but I wanted to fade the worst team in the NHL laying a price and this felt like the best way.

DEN to win Northwest division +137 (1u) Denver is built to win regular season games early b/c of their continuity, on b2b’s b/c of their depth and I think it’ll take a while for Conley/Mitchell to jell and think Utah is careful with Gobert. Happy banner night everyone! The title defense begins tonight. If you want our trophy, come get it......... I think the pace will be there in TOR/NOP. Raptors ball movement was better last year w/o Kawhi as the ball tends to stop with him and some Raptors quotes alluded to it. I expect energy and pace from both teams. That said the total at 229 is a tad high and I’m not sure how efficient either team will be. I also don’t want to ruin banner night. Do have a play on the 2nd game.

NHL: BOS -1.5 +140... BUF ml -110... EDM ml +105... Taking my second – price on the money line. That rule is going to be set in stone if BUF loses tonight.... I talked myself out of FLA b/c PIT has been playing out of their head and out of NYR b/c I don’t want to catch a falling knife though I think there will be plenty of units to be made with NYR in the near future. They had a very weird schedule to start the year and it's beginning to normalize

@chuckster I say this knowing my Eagles can’t tackle and are terribly coached. I mean Luck retires a week before the season, Colts 4-2. Indy has a skeleton crew on defense and high potent KCC offense scores 13. Off a bye? Colts win. They are always prepared. Philly? Fall behind 17-0 to terrible Washington, give Atlanta it’s only win, fall behind to Green Bay, Detroit, get whipped by Minnesota. Philly starts the DAL game with 2 turnovers. They were down doubles in every one of those games. It’s evident that Frank Reich was the brains of the Superbowl run.

NBA win totals all 1u: BOS over 49.5 +100 Simple: I think Kemba Walker is a better FIT than Kyrie. Walker will play within the system and their young core is good enough.... DET Over 37.5 -125: Love Casey as a coach to get the most of his players. Love the Morris and D Rose pick ups. I think there is a negative stigma around Rose as a former MVP b/c of those expectations but he’s a solid PG. This looks like a veteran team w/o flash that no one likes, that will likely win in the low 40’s.... CLE Under 23.5 -105: Gave the whole it’s okay to bet against the worst teams speech a couple weeks ago. It applies to CLE. Can’t see Love in any circumstance playing more that 60 games... LAL under 51 -135: Do we trust Lebron to play over 70 games? Anthony Davis has no history of it. After that, who on this roster do you trust?

@time to sign SAS and POR just missed the cut wanted to take both overs but betting overs in a loaded west seems like a terrible idea. SAS are consistent but have a ceiling. POR has 3 different sets of 5 road games in 7 nights the most in the league, 2 of those sets are tough road trips and while I like this team, I hate the schedule. ORL over is the other that missed the cut, b/c I don’t trust guys who had career years for them to repeat. Their division is bad enough , that I may bet them to win the division in season. Thought about taking BKN under with Irving as I don’t think they are better but I passed. I will probably be fading them daily. I want to take DAL under b/c Porzingas is likely to miss 20 games with load management but I like the roster enough and just chose not to.

I know plenty of people Who took a positive approach with GS and took them to win conference and title at pick em prices in recent years, I took the they don’t care about regular season approach and successfully bet their win totals under. For me it’s annoying not to have such a clear play. All these teams are priced and seem to be very good but not elite

Its one thing to get up for the game, its another to have talent/scheme to execute, especially when golden states troops have a lot to proove themselves. Side note, been down on nba over the last few years as a viewing product, but pretty pumped for this season. Between multiole contenders and the lakers resurgence, i am on board paid for league pass.

Wanted to take Dal/OTT under but there was a tornado in DAL and a few of the players have property damage that they are attending to and the back up goalie is in and I talked myself out of it. NYJ +10 (1u), NYJ +7 +120 (0.5u): NE has played the NYG w/o all their skill position talent, Colt McCoy, Josh Allen a game they were lucky to win where a special teams score was the difference, Luke Faulk, the Dolphins and PIT. Which of those offenses has the offensive talent of the NYJ? The NYJ have had Darnold for 2 games: They lost by 1 to the 5-1 Bills and they beat DAL as 7 point dogs. NE statistical profile inflated from playing nobody’s, NYJ profile looks bad b/c they didn’t have a QB for 3 games. Coach Gase admitted that they didn’t open up the playbook w/o Darnold b/c he didn’t think the plays would work and the minute Darnold could practice, he got all the first team reps at the expense of preparing for that week’s opponent. NYJ are live.

@time to sign IND/HOU recent history suggests a low scoring game. We know Indy wants to control the game on offense with their running game. HOU has battled ATL and KCC inept defences last 2 weeks. Similar to IND who has played both KCC and ATL already this year. Both have secondary injuries that limit the play but I trust IND coaching staff to figure something out with extra time........... DET/MIN: DET has been good against the pass ranking 11th in yards per pass attempt and that’s with facing Rodgers, Mahomes, Wentz and Rivers the last 4 weeks. Which of those QB’s is Cousins better than? MIN defense is still good. Feels like a 1st to 20 wins.

@time to sign The teaser is pretty straight forward. I like both teams to win outright, i’m going through all the key numbers.... I get GB is on a short week and has no receivers and OAK is coming off a bye. To me that all means Green Bay wants to win the game and get out. Note that OAK and GB are 21st and 31st in how quickly they run a play. In other words, pace wise they are both slow. OAK is also 28th in terms of 20+ yard pass plays. Neither team looks explosive to me.

I thought COL may play the backup goalie tonight and save the starter for TB, they didn't. To me these moves signal an intent to win tonight. @time to sign Dallas is 6-2 to the under, PIT will play unders especially at home and that’s why we recommended under 6 in that game.... Think the above write up is also useful for Anaheim game. Carolina has played 2 teams that want to grind out 2-1 games in CBJ and LAK (I’ve said I don’t think LAK have the personnel to do it, doesn’t mean they don’t want to). They lost to CBJ 3-2 and beat LAK 2-0. Think ANA at home get’s the matchups they want and frustrate CAR. This is also the last game of the west coast part of the road trip for CAR prior to a revenge spot at CBJ. Also CAR has taken a league high 38 minor penalties and ANA finally showed some life on the power play in their last game. Eventually CAR’s undisciplined behaviour will catch up to them.... CBJ I thought got CAR at a good time and beat a DAL team that can’t get out of it’s own way. I still think this team is not very good based on the pieces they lost in the off season. CHI started it’s season overseas and I just thought they were tired when they gave up the lead to SJ. They also lost a lead to WPG but they beat EDM 3-1 and holding EDM to 1 goal is significant as EDM has scored at least 3 goals (lots of 4’s and 5’s) in every other game. Think CHI has their legs under them now and should start playing better. Also SJ and WPG have the offensive prowess to make comebacks against CHI, if CBJ falls behind I don’t think they can rally.

@time to sign We always talk about what home field is worth and how it impacts the game. In NHL it’s about being able to make the last change for the home team. For instance the away team puts their top line out there and the home team may put their top line or a defensive line depending on the matchup they want. We saw a great example of this in COL/PIT where PIT wasn’t making their line moves to score the most goals, they were matching up their lines to limit COL offense and it worked.....

@Karensman The NFL refs love Brady than there is a gap than they love Rodgers than there is a gap to the rest of the league. Some thought that NOS would get favourable calls against the LAR earlier this year after the championship game stuff but the refs took away a TD from NOS with their incompetence. The NFL refs are not competent enough to try and help one team over the other. 0 0

@time to sign Wanted to take MIN but numbers suggested +160 was a reasonable strike point. I’ve mentioned they want to win games 2-1. Against MON they’re aren’t outclassed and if they lose, I can easily see a 3-1 or 4-1 loss... TB has one good game this year and it was against TOR. It concerns me b/c they’ll step up when they play quality competition. That said BOS has looked elite all year and I haven’t seen that elite effort from TB consistently.... Nashville is capable of beating anyone but if you’ve bet hockey in recent years you know they can lose to anyone as well. They already have wins against cup contenders WAS and VGK this year but losses to mediocre DET and terrible LAK. ARI has held their own against BOS, COL and they beat VGK. Will take ARI all year as a short home dog.

@time to sign Last 3 thurday nights have all gone over and you’ll notice that after September historical trends to the favourite and the over. Reason you don’t include September is that in September teams still have energy and aren’t physically worn out in the 2H. That’s why it will stay as a 0.5u play unless the books feel like giving me 51 (they won’t)................ Why do I like under than?... Denver has just seen 2 teams run the ball down KCC throat and win games in SU fashion. Indy held the ball for over 37 minutes, HOU over 39 minutes. Thinking DEN tries to play keep away here as well. A lot of teams try to utilize the quick passing game to limit DEN pass rush and with an ankle injury for Mahomes and no OL, I expect KCC to do the same. I just don’t think KCC will have time to throw down field and Mahomes can’t improvise and buy time. Also considering how much KCC defense has been on the field in recent games, I expect them to attempt to run the ball and hold the ball a little more so there defense isn’t always in a bad spot, at least that’s what the coaches suggested in some of the interviews. Lastly if both teams try to play ball control, do you trust either to end drives in TD’s? KCC and DEN rank 20th and 25th offensively in turning red zone drives into touchdowns.

@time to sign The injury list for PIT is long and COL is just better than they are. Think the markets have not been pricing PIT correctly, still a vividness bias of what they were. Yes PIT has scored 14 goals in their past 2 games but that was against easier competition. This is a class test for PIT not COL though no one is framing the game that way. 1 1

@time to sign I don’t fool around much with units in nhl b/c if i take +200 and +250 and I think one is more likely to win than the other, i feel like i’ll just end up getting screwed. Did it tonight though and i’ll add that all 1st period plays from me will be 0.5u. Not sure if they will work out or not as I haven’t done much with that market before. I had only 1 or 2 last year and the 1 I can remember pushed. Like WAS 1st period tonight as they gave up 3 quick goals to COL and thus never had a chance. Expect them to be focused here. Perhaps the Leafs on second night of b2b are a little sleepy early and if they are WAS takes advantage.

NHL: CAR/LAK Over 6.5: LAK have had 11,7,10,11,7 goals in their games. Every game has gone over the total (we’ve been on a couple). I don’t see that changing here especially against what I expect to be a focused hockey team in Carolina who finally had their take a deep breath, poor effort game. Off a poor offensive game I expect CAR to score. LAK have scored 4 or more 3 times, twice they only scored 2 goals and both those situations were on b2b’s which doesn’t apply here.

@time to sign Lean MINTOR under as minny wants to play 2-1 games but I don’t think they’re good enough to dictate terms here and if they fall behind early they’ll have to open up. I want to bet against Philly who started the year overseas, than had their home opener and now are in the middle of a 3 game road trip through Western Canada. I just haven't seen anything from Calgary to trust them to win comfortably.

If you’re going to let your opponent score, the minute GB RB gets behind the defense, one of those DET DL needs to literally wrap him up and carry him to the endzone...Yes DET has to score TD’s, 5 field goals is not good enough but who knew “illegal use of hands to the face” would become such a popular phrase.... @Question I didn't say they were available anywhere. As I stated these are my lines based on what my numbers show. For instance I have NE -4 on MNF and the broad markets have NE -9.5. I post my lines weekly on here. 3 1

@BigDaddyVladdy ya me too. Not that Wilson is a lock or anything especially considering 2 weeks ago everyone was ready to give it to Mahomes. Mahomes and Watson seem like good choices and are both favored to win the division while SEA has to compete with both the Rams and 49ers this year. Mccaffrey is also making noise in CAR. If they ever beat NOS for that division, you know he'll get most of the credit over the rookie QB. And yes, let's cash the Lions ticket!!

@time to sign I’m not buying that this is a terrible spot for COL. Why? The idea is it’s their first road game against a quality foe. My idea is that they got 4 home games which means rest and plenty of practice time. Compared to Washington who is coming off b2b physical road games against Nashville and Dallas with Dallas being an early in season revenge game. WAS has a Stanley cup, COL is trying to prove they belong and every chance COL gets to prove they belong with the league’s best, I expect them to try and take advantage of it.

@time to sign Simply put I like this DET team and I like them off a bye. With extra time to prepare and this being a division game, I think DET comes up with a gameplan to stop the GB offense missing it’s most prolific receiver. Perhaps Aaron Rodgers just comes up with magic but i’m not buying it. Also not buying the this is a revenge spot for GB after DET beat them twice last year b/c I don’t think DET ever comes into this matchup acting like they’re favourites and off a bye I expect them to be focused.

@ND10 For me it was seeing my number on this game at NYG -4.5 (I’d give NYG 1.5 more points should Barkley play) and being able to lock in under 3. Of course we know the line is only going up if Barkley plays and if he doesn’t, it’s not terrible if the line stays the same or even goes back to 2. I also like that NYG have extra time to prepare while ARI has played 2 straight back and fourth games with tight last second wins. Having to go back to the east coast, it doesn’t feel like their spot.

ATL finds new and creative ways to lose every week. CAR -2.5 +100 (0.5u):... I like the situationals enough for Carolina to make a small bet. They got to London earlier the way OAK did last week and SFF stayed on the east coast when they had b2b east coast games to begin the year. CAR is preparing for the same offense while TB has to prepare for a new QB. NYG and Rams each set season highs in points against TB defense while Teddy Bridgewater easily had his best game last week. In season revenge for CAR and I trust them more to stay focused.

@time to sign Zimmer wants to establish the run... it won’t work against my Eagles defense. MIN does have to elite receivers against an inept Philly secondary. I think Zimmer is smart enough to not be stubborn and just throw the ball around. Philly offense better than NYG, CHI, OAK which is what Minny has seen in recent weeks. If it’s a 4th Q shootout, do you want Cousins or Wentz? I’ll take Wentz with the hook.... HOU could try to run the ball like Indy did vs KCC but with an explosive QB and explosive down field weapons, why not just pick apart the KCC defense. The best play may be HOU tt over... Power ratings suggest CIN is undervalued here. BAL missing explosive weapon marquise brown and this feels like a BAL controls the game on the ground and with the short passing game. We’ve seen Cinci be able to find some 2h offensive rhythm in games against BUF and ARI and a little offense from them gets them inside the number. GL2All and let’s have a winning day!

@BigDaddyVladdy The game reminds me exactly of Indy/DAL last year where DAL won a lot of important games in a row and than was a no show in a non conference game. I spent way to much time on SEA/CLE. Like some of the matchups for CLE which you alluded to but SEA has better coach/QB and more time to prepare. GL this week!! 3 0

@time to sign Jacksonville -2.5 -120 (1u): NOS has played SEA where they got special teams and defensive TD’s. It was there spot first game w/o Drew Brees. Than they played DAL SNF a revenge game from a national tv loss to DAL last year and then they played a divisional opponent. Now they have to go on the road to face a non conference foe this is an obvious flat spot for NOS. JAC a 2 point conversion from being 3-1 with Minshew, they were right in that game with CAR lw and if NOS is flat, they are capable of taking advantage.... more to come

@Petr Griffen yea it would've been nice if they just cover the 3.5 but I think it'd be more entertaining to watch paint dry than to watch the Iowa offense again... But the more more brutal beat for me was TT/Baylor under 58. 20-20 end of regulation but they score 23 points in overtime to push the game over...oh well 1 0

@BigDaddyVladdy at the last moment I substituted Washington and put LSU into my money line parlay... I understand why Washington was flat against Cal. There was a long delay there was no there ect. But that loss to Stanford was concerning. Washington did respond after their loss to Cal by destroying Hawaii. But again I could forgive the Cal loss, I don't have a good reason for Stanford. That said Washington defense is real and likely the best Arizona has faced. Also a lot of ARI best offensive players have been in and out of the lineup so I wonder if they are in sync. Lean Washington and under.... GL with whatever you play.

@ND10 I took Temple when Maryland came in there after scoring 140 points in their first 2 games and we won that game su as a TD underdog. This felt like the same spot/scenario for me where Memphis has played SouthernU, South Alabama, Navy, ULM. This is a much tougher evaluation especially against a strong Temple defense. NHL Future: TB to win division +150 (1u): Pre season could’ve had +110, wait 10 days and the number goes higher b/c TB is 2-2. TB showed how lethal it could be with Point’s return scoring 7 at TOR. You could argue the 3 best teams in the East all play in the same division: TB/BOS/TOR With the dumb NHL playoff rules, which require the 2nd and 3rd place teams in the division to play each other in the first round of the playoffs, the motivation will be there for TB to win the the division. That way they can avoid TOR/BOS in the first round again.

@time to sign Everyone is betting Florida b/c they’ve played Carolina (4-0) and Tampa twice so all the strength of schedule stuff looks great. That said goalie Bobrovsky is playing like someone that just got a $70 million deal and is just coasting. BUF has been playing well winning 3 of 4 and they’ve proven to be very streaky. At home at a + number seems too much to pass up..................NYI/CAR went 3-1 to the ‘under’ in their meetings last year. They met in the playoffs and split the 4 totals 2-2. We know NYI want revenge but so did WAS earlier this year and CAR beat them anyway. I do think NYI can slow this game down and limit the amount of scoring chances thus I like under.

@time to sign Oregon has played a good Stanford defense and an elite CAL defense so seeing them not light up the scoreboard was no surprise. @chuckster Vegas is fine as long as Fleury stays healthy. Their backup goalie is not good and that’s part of the reason i took them under their point total. NYG/NE Under 43 (0.5u)..... How do the NYG score? Considering how much of a control freak BB is I don’t think he wants his 42 year old QB throwing 40 plus times on a short week especially when he won’t have to in order to win the game. We saw against the Jets an uncharacteristic move from BB where he took Brady out and put the backup QB in when the game was out of hand. With the short recovery time from Sunday to Thursday I could see that here. Thought about taking the NYG but I could also see a scenario where NE is up 14 late 4th and they punch in a TD b/c they can. We saw this against MIA and NE did it b/c they lose in MIA every year and they enjoy playing bully so they did. The NYG have cost NE 2 superbowls and I do believe NE despises the NYG and if given the chance, I’m sure BB has no hesitation adding a late TD.

@chuckster Since I know you're a teaser player chuckster: If you tease the road team on a 6 point teaser blindly (doesn't matter if it goes through key numbers like +2 to +8 or if you tease through 0) you'd have gone 63-14 (81%) excluding the london game. Most books also give you you alternate lines so if you just bought 6 points on every road team, (yes you'd be laying -260 each time) you'd be up double digit units.

@chuckster I took WAS -115 to win series. it would not be responsible to just let STL ride even though I was already free rolling. Though if STL goes through than I'll really be free rolling. That said LAD being choke artists never scared me. But WAS all of a sudden in elimination games they are coming up with late inning heroics, pitching's been fine and it's fair to say Bryce who? They look scary.

@time to sign Hockey is a demanding sport and it’s also best when you’re in rhythm. Philly was just overseas where they opened their season against CHI so they’ve been in different time zones and with this being just their second game (some teams have already played 4), i don’t expect them to be sharp. NJ showed some youth and inexperience getting lazy vs WPG and blowing a 4-0 lead to lose 5-4. They looked flat on a b2b the next night after blowing that lead and after a few off days to settle down I think they are more focused here.

@time to sign Some thought's on the plays: Simply I think ULL is the class this year and the price is cheap b/c App State has owned this matchup including winning both games last year. Hit under 58 in the 2nd meeting between these 2 teams last year, the game had 49 points. The first meeting had 44 yet despite this being an ‘unders’ series with totals in the mid to high 50’s this year the total is more than 10 points higher? Why? The offensive numbers are there but I like the 2 defenses a little, this game has a rivalry feel to it and with both capable of running the ball effectively, if one team creates separation, I totally see a scenario where they try to bleed clock in the 2nd half.

NBA win totals 2 units each:...... CHA Under 23.5 wins -105 Every year in the NBA there’s a team that doesn’t win 24 games (last year 5), usually more than 1. We see in leagues where tanking has become prevalent (MLB, NBA) that bad teams are terrible. 2018 MLB the 2 worst teams were MIA, BAL... This year they were the 2nd and 3rd worst teams both losing over 100 games and despite having low win totals, the easily cashed the under. My point being, it’s hard to set the total low enough for the worst teams. CHA loses their best player in Kemba Walker, they also lose Jeremy Lamb who was 2nd on the team in win shares per 48 minutes. Those were the only 2 players last year for CHA in the top 100 for that category.

@time to sign NOP Under 40.5 -140 NOP will be fun and they’ll have highlight reels but they are young and frankly not as good as any of last year’s playoff teams. I think they have a similar year to SAC in which they are in a lot of games, are good underdogs but struggle to win them. The difference is NOP is far more hyped than SAC was last year. I’m not sure they are as good as SAC, no as good as the Lakers and Minny has KAT who is a potential MVP candidate. Did i mention none of those teams made the playoffs last year. NOP is simply not a .500 team in the loaded west.

NHL: STL ml +115.................. for MNF lean CLE+ and Over. I don't trust SFF being 3-0 and having 2 weeks to hear about how great they are. That said I think they are real and I also don't trust CLE off a big road win against a division rival to handle success. Have seen to many young team mistakes from them already to trust them. I do think these teams move the ball but I don't trust either to score TD's... I'll be back later if i change my mind and/or to lock in a couple NBA win totals

From me today: Bad picks, bad bets, bad research, bad preparation, bad handicapping... Sorry, horrid handicapping. Everything was absolutely terrible. Was always going to be wrong in GB and TB games. I cash both under and would be live to a money line parlay if the Bears don’t allow OAK to go 97 yards with the game on the line. I’m always losing there too b/c if you give me that situation pre game where a defensive stand by CHI defense wins me both bets, i’m taking it. The one mistake I made is not betting MIN TT Over, we all knew MIN would score today, this was the get right game but i figured if they get to 30, NYG could give me 14 (they didn’t). NYG had 3 of 4 drives go 10+ plays, in the 2H and scored 3 points. The MINNYG game was the only game I thought I handicapped well enough to win but didn’t get the result. The rest was absolutely pathetic from me. Indy +11 (0.5u) pending from earlier. See you all tmrw.

Could’ve easily gone 3-0 in NHL but instead 1-2. WAS scores to go up 3-0 but the goal was overturned and then 2 3rd period goals tie the game. WAS loses in OT. Leafs ml to the over goes down when the Leafs blow a 4-1 3rd period lead and lose 6-5................At 4-3 TOR, Leaf player Kapanen breaks his stick and decides to THROW IT at the MON player. This resulted in a penalty shot which MON scored to tie the game. After the game Kapanen said (paraphrasing) “If i knew that rule existed.. i wouldn’t have done it.” What I want to know is what exactly Kapanen thought would happen when he threw his stick at an opposing player???????? Leafs lose in a shootout so 0-2 in games that went into Overtime yesterday. Lovely.

Now if I can only get SJ +1.5 PL to start playing at Home, so far it's Vegas 2-0 in the first. NHL: CHI/PHI Under 6.5 -115... This total is really high b/c of what these teams did last year. Like the sophomore goalie in Philly and CHI goalie Crawford healthy to start the year. There was one bad beat in Temple game (Temple -12) almost made under a horrific beat when Temple appeared to run back a fumble on the last play of the game but thankfully the ref blew it did stating forward progress had been stopped.......... In SEA the only thing I want to know is what that defense was in final minute. LAR has no timeouts and SEA decides lets play 15 yards off line of scrimmage and let's not protect the sidelines?? LAR literally were getting 10 yards a play and getting out of bounds with no timeouts. SEA deserved to lose with those decisions (and some they made in the first half).

The end of first half in LAR/SEA made me want to puke. 4th nd 6 inches and you try some 48 yard field goal which the useless SEA kicker misses. Than LAR goes down the field, SEA gets a stop but a roughing the passer extends the drive. Then Kupp literally walks to the endzone, turns around and catches the ball!? What kind of useless defense was that... Don't even want to watch the 2nd half. HUGE momentum shift.

@BigDaddyVladdy The case I heard all week was the Rams were -7 in this game last year and this price is cheap... SEA at home in a night game always has me interested. @time to sign Be careful with hype teams in the NHL this year (FLA, NYR, NJ, ARI) as a lot of them looked improved through off season moves but they still have to get used to playing with each other and trusting where they are going to be on the ice. Similar to a QB/WR getting the timing on the routes down. 1 0

@time to sign For the NFL play: Goff home/road splits are real. 2018 at home 22 TD, 3 INT, 9.03 YPA, on the road: 10 TD, 9 INT and 7.56 YPA. This year 3 TD’s and 3 INT’s both at home and away. The difference at home: 8.33 YPA on the road 5.9. AT SEA, in a night game, on a short week is never easy. SEA in double revenge and SEA exhausted no energy beating ARI, while LAR spent plenty of energy trying to come back vs TB.

@Still Crazy Yes, i'm interested. I don’t expect you to know but i’d be curious as to if the total was at a certain point say 55 for college football, if there was any correlation between those money lines and a higher or lower total. With a lower total, a half point tends to be worth a little more hence why I took ASU +4 last week (total 43) but no ml and I split an Arkansas St +7 & ml play (total 58).... they both won su. This is stuff I tend to take note of and look back at in March or April. I know last year I hit my straight ml’s at a high clip compared to their implied probability and with all the volume, I only had 2 ml plays that covered (1 push) but did not win the game (I wasn’t sure either were repeatable). Thank you

@time to sign Thanks for all of your NHL posts. Had a fun last night with the betting, but that's not the real reason I'm posting after a few years away from things. TTS, I did a fairly detailed analysis of all of your football picks this year and found an interesting tid-bit. When I filtered all of your picks on dogs (less than +10) and derived a total of wins and losses (based on all bets on ML ONLY!), the spread win/loss after vig was approx 63% BUT the ML ROI came in at 76%! So, I'll be going ML on all of your dogs under +10! Thought you might get something out of this if you haven't taken this angle at things.

@Ravineman Pinnacle is LAC -6.5 +100 which tells you it's more likely to go to 6 than to 7. I don't think the broader markets get to 7. That said Bovada has LAC 6.5 -115 so if you use that book, I don't think it'll hurt you to wait. 0 0

NHL: BOS Under 100.5 points..... I’ll bite here b/c it’s not just that BOS lost the Stanley cup final, it’s the fact that they lost it in game 7 on HOME Ice. That’s tough and i’m not sure they will be overly concerned with the regular season. If TB is who they are, BOS know’s they’ll likely get TOR again, a team they have eliminated in the playoffs b2b years. Plus BOS was a strong 10-6 last year in 1 goal games something that they may not repeat.

@time to sign If TB gets over 108.5 they win the division so i’d rather take +110 than lay -110. Though I want to see them play first (beauty of division futures vs win/point totals). STL may just be for real and the way the betting markets are treating them tonight, my favourite money maker from last year may become my favourite fade this year so i'll pass there 1 0

@chuckster 14-1 is a good number on COL... I will be betting them to win the division after they go on their first road trip b/c it’s the most difficult trip they’ll have all year WAS, PIT, FLA, TB, STL, VGS. If they are who I think they are, I might bet them to win the cup as well (though i’m not a big championship future player). COL over TB is my pre season prediction. 1 0
